On this page you can either search or browse the database of digital library materials. Search by inserting search terms into the large text box on the left, or by first selecting the SEARCH button on the left, then putting appropriate terms into the smaller boxes representing metadata fields. The text search will search all digitized text and metadata (information about the documents but not the text of documents). Metadata search will only search information about the documents entered by staff. This search box will search all materials in the database.
The browse hierarchy for subject terms is in process of being simplified to six topics:
- Accident investigation techniques
- Aeromedical
- Airport & Airway Facilities
- Emergency
- Operations
- System Design & Engineering
When your results appear they will be in the form of links to titles, with the descriptive information ("metadata") in database format.
You can change your "preferences" about which metadata fields to search and which fields to display, as well as other display and search options, using the "Preferences" button in the search box.
